The Stuarts – TV graphics

BBC Two

  • The Stuarts

For more than 200 years, Scotland was ruled by monarchs of the Stuart dynasty. The Stuarts eventually laid the foundation for modern Britain, grappling with the chaos of three separate kingdoms and civil war. In a primetime BBC series, Dr Claire Jackson looked at how they were fatally divided by religion and how Scotland lost its sovereignty.

We created the titles and graphics for the three-part documentary about Britain’s defining Royal Family.

    Stills

Working with the idea of Britain divided into three separate kingdoms, our title sequence features images that literally fracture and fall apart. Modern images such as Prime Minister David Cameron meeting Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond are included amongst images of the Royal Family.
