Casson MannTwo interactive displays that presented the dramatic real life stories of winners of Britain’s highest military honour the Victoria Cross (VC). Illustrated in the style of ‘Boys Own’ war comics touch displays allow visitors to explore the storylines which are supplemented with visual effects, atmospheric audio and actors.

Storylines
The interactives feature eight heroes, telling the extraordinary stories and events that led to them being awarded the Victoria Cross.
The stories range from the Battle of Colenso to the War in Iraq. Each story was told using specially commissioned scripts and illustrations which were brought to life with actors’ voiceover, sound, visual effects and animation. Comic book artist John McCrae, best known for his work with DC Comics and Marvel created the visuals.
