ISO will be working with PhD student Ronnie Campbell, 1 of the 13 PhD students funded by the National Productivity Investment Fund, to facilitate the development of tools and techniques, models and recommendations for a variety of situations allowing ISO Design to help guide clients in their conception and delivery of media exhibits so that these match user needs and behaviours.
Ronnie’s specialization is audio and has recently been utilizing the upgraded ambisonic sound booth in the Glasgow School of Art’s Sim Vis Department which is able to envelop listeners in an ambisonic sound sphere made up of 16 speakers, creating 3D spatialized sound.
