We were in the amazing surrounds of the Courtauld Institute at Somerset House this week running a workshop with our friends at RAA on Digitising Cultural Institutions. The Courtauld is perhaps best known for its School of the History of Art but also contains the incredible art collection gathered by Samuel Courtauld and an archive of over 12 million items. We are working with RAA on re-interpreting the organisation as it goes under a major period of re-development, opening up the archives and its activities.
