Embedding himself in the ISO basement when GSA closed access to their studios, our Artist-In-Residence John Barry beavered away researching the psychogeography of Glasgow, its hidden history and many of its communities, resulting in an amazing range of work from films and performance, graphic works, drawings, sculpture and sound installations. “Lockdown with Feathers”, his exhibition celebrating the first appearance of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy on film together, was then hosted at our studio.
Undertaking a Masters under lockdown hasn’t been without its challenges and we’ve been pleased to be able to support him. Congratulations to John for recently graduating his masters with a distinction!
