Now open – our first fully immersive gastronomic experience. ‘The Monarch Theatre’ is the centrepiece of the extraordinary Park Row, London – situated over 3 floors beneath Soho’s Brewer St and comprising 5 bars and restaurants that marry high-end drinking and dining with the atmosphere of Batman’s Gotham City.

The first from restaurateur James Bulmer’s Wonderland Restaurants Group they partnered up with Warner Bros to present a multi-sensory, high end version of Gotham, that subtly pays homage to some of DC universe’s most iconic heroes and villains.

In the Monarch, over two hours and 13 courses, a narrator guides groups of up to 20 diners on a truly one-of-a-kind show, with carefully crafted physical staging, food and drink that play with the senses.

Integrating large scale media and 3D sound with the other senses via touch and taste alongside magic and theatricality seems like the next logical step for truly immersive experiences. For the project we partnered with our friends and project producers Sysco Productions on the concept, show and installation design creating the 12K projection space. Audio was delivered via a 12.1 spatial mix, with the original sound design and music composition from regular ISO collaborator composer Giles Lamb. Projection technology via Epson.
