The studio has just won a new Innovate UK R&D Award to work with internationally renowned Performance and Visual Arts space Tramway to develop a prototype on how live venues can adapt to a post COVID world.
The Sustainable Innovation Fund will support 9 months development, alongside a team of talented collaborators from the fields of audience evaluation, architecture, 3D scanning, virtual production and show design.
We will be developing a new digital toolset that will allow theatre, arts venues, and producers to reimagine shows and develop new audience experiences under social distanced guidelines, ensuring the safety of performers and visitors alike.
Our research team at isoLABS will be working alongside pre-visualisation specialists, Stageport award winning architects McGinlay Bell, audience engagement experts Indigo, H&S consultants ASE, and 3D digitisation specialists Parametrix. Tramway will be the host venue for the project and we hope to share developments on this critical area for creative recovery as we go.
