The Windermere Jetty Museum sits on the shoreline of England’s largest lake and showcases an internationally significant collection of boats, steam launches and yachts.
We were commissioned by Lakeland Arts Trust to create all the AVs across the museum, from playful interactives, atmospheric multi-screen installations and documentary films.
The museum is comprised of a cluster of copper clad “boat sheds” designed by architectural firm Carmody Groarke, complementing the picturesque landscape whilst maintaining a connection to Windermere’s industrial heritage.

We created several large multiscreen ‘waterscape’ films using a mix of archive photography, video and typography to provide context and insight into the lake’s colourful history.
